Schaefer Stevedoring offers fully integrated steel and general cargo logistics services in the ports of Brownsville, Altamira, Tampico, and Veracruz. We work with mills, traders, shippers, and receivers, and specialize in terminal handling operations such as the loading and unloading of ships, barges, railcars, and trucks from both indoor and outdoor storage facilities. Our terminal operations have both water and dock access, on-site rail spurs, truck loading areas, transfer yards, heavy lift capacities, and all of the necessary equipment to provide safe and efficient cargo handling and storage services.

 

We are an American company with a South Texas base, but Mexico is our strongest market. Our facilities and services dedicated to Mexican industry and commerce are an integral part of our company’s operation and ongoing development. It makes our presence there among our greatest strengths. We directly offer complete stevedoring and shipping services on the Gulf Coast, and work with commercial partners for cargo entering the Pacific Coast via Manzanillo and Mazatlan.
